Luckily the weather is great (as for Belgian weather it’s just perfect). Thanks to that the teambuilding games could take place outside of Don Bosco. Sun beams were multiplied by the powerful participants’ T-shirts colour… You could sing “and it was all yellow” =). After dividing participants in 8 teams of 10, the “aqueduct game” started. Each team had different materials available. It made the goal of connecting all the projects in one final construction much more difficult. But the engineers did their job really just great! Not only was it functioning, but it also looked perfectly. Whoever thinks that an engineering mind has no capacity for focusing on the functionality and design at the same time is wrong. The part which made the constructors especially happy was destroying their creations after the game finished. The morning part of teambuilding was “signed” with humanoid signature (see below=)). ![]() After lunch a short briefing took place. If anybody had doubts concerning EBEC (why, what for, who, when, where), they were all dispelled. Late afternoon was spent on different games demanding agility, cleverness and a sense of humour - a real engineer ‘s characteristics. Jumping, running, shouting, staying alert the whole time and most of all - getting to know each other. That’s what you do to feel united and comfortable among the people that you will compete with. We can be sure it is going to be a fair play! And in the evening a relax session – karaoke night will reveal long hidden singing talents from all over Europe. Eurovision is waiting for us! So are the first competition tasks tomorrow… |
