EBEC 2009

It is already the 8th day of the first edition of the European BEST Engineering Competition. After the “free day” we are all very busy.
First of all there is another interesting case study going on. Opera Software challenged us with a new assignment – designing features for web browsers. Referring to what has been said during the introduction to the task - imagination is the only limit. When it comes to computers, everything is possible. Think outside the box and let your creativity lead you! While a new web browser is being developed, our team design category finalists are handling the sub-Saharan issue.

If you visited the working rooms, you would see the effects of the brainstorming, sometimes looking quite untidy for an outside onlooker. Participants have to pay attention to the fact that their devices ought to be environmentally friendly and fit in the idea of sustainable development.
